The Clipper Ship Competition challenges players to design and build a boat that can carry their teammates across a swimming pool or a lake, using limited supplies such as cardboard, duct tape, and twine! Teams must build their boats in a mere 120 minutes, making teamwork and preparation the keys for sailing to success.
Participants then race their vessels across a body of water, competing against the other teams. Each team has the opportunity to win awards such as America’s Cardboard Cup, the Titanic Award, the Seabiscuit Award, and many others.
But no matter how fast, slow, big, small, sensible or outrageous your boat is, the first rule is that the boat designers, builders, racers and supporters have fun. The race is open to everyone - even pirates!
Pricing varies. Please call or e-mail us for more information.
